Joel Johnson, founder of Verus Remodel, brings over twenty years of experience combining traditional craftsmanship with modern construction expertise. He began his career under the tutelage of master craftsmen in Teton, Idaho, before deepening his skill set through historic preservation work in Virginia and Washington, DC. After settling in Texas, Joel spent years in custom home building and overseeing complex capital projects—experience that ultimately led to the founding of Verus Remodel.
As a husband and father, Joel is deeply invested in creating spaces that serve families well and stand the test of time. His appreciation for history, early American craftsmanship, and the outdoors informs his thoughtful approach to the remodeling process. He values meaningful connection with our clients, ensuring each remodel reflects both technical excellence and enduring quality.
With a strong foundation built through years of hands-on experience, Victor began his career working across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. Through dedication to craftsmanship and a commitment to continual growth, he progressed from executing work in the field to managing complex construction and remodeling projects from start to finish. This path has given him a comprehensive understanding of every phase of construction, from design and planning through execution and final delivery.
As a project manager, Victor combines hands-on experience with clear leadership to deliver well-executed projects from start to finish, while staying current with building codes and industry standards. Outside of work, he values time with his wife, Mikayla, their dog Canela, and gathering with friends and family.
Laura Robinson brings over eleven years of interior design experience to Verus Remodel, with a background spanning both high-end residential and commercial projects. An NCIDQ-certified designer, she is known for her thoughtful approach to finishes, color, and spatial planning—creating interiors that feel cohesive, functional, and refined. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Alabama and brings a collaborative, detail-driven mindset to every project.
Away from the studio, Laura enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Morgan Klima serves as Office Manager for Verus Remodel, bringing a client-focused and service-oriented approach to the team. Morgan is passionate about serving others and brings years of customer service experience across multiple industries to her role. She supports daily operations while taking exceptional care of our clients, ensuring their experience with Verus Remodel is professional, seamless, and positive from start to finish.
Outside of work, Morgan enjoys life with her husband, Jordan, and their golden retriever, Declan. In her spare time, they enjoy taking Declan for walks at nearby parks, exploring new places, and trying new restaurants together.
